We dream of an Assam where the environment is protected, heritage is preserved, and dignity is restored for the most vulnerable.
Story of Rakta Sanjeevani
Born from a deep commitment to save lives through voluntary blood donation, Rakta Sanjeevani has grown into a driving force for rural empowerment in Assam. We realized early on that a healthy community also needs economic independence and a clean environment. Today, we combine our foundational healthcare initiatives with sustainable livelihood generation, ecological conservation, and youth development to build a truly self-reliant society.

Project Prana- Health & Blood Security
Our primary mission is to permanently wipe off the scarcity of blood and ensure that safe, high-quality blood components are available round the clock, every day of the year. We are dedicated to shifting the paradigm of blood safety by actively encouraging voluntary blood donation, with the ultimate goal of eliminating reliance on professional paid donors. Beyond blood safety, we are committed to holistic community health, organizing regular health check-up camps, promoting wellness through yoga programs, and providing essential nursing and patient care services to the most vulnerable in our rural areas.
Project Srijan- Livelihood & Cultural Heritage
We are deeply committed to preserving the soul of Assam while ensuring economic independence for its people. To achieve this, we actively promote the handloom and handicraft industries, ensuring that our rich traditional arts evolve into sustainable, dignified livelihoods for artisans. Furthermore, we are dedicated to addressing the crisis of unemployment by working tirelessly for livelihood promotion and job creation, specifically empowering educated unemployed youths to build a self-reliant future.
Project Urja- Youth Development & Education
We firmly believe in channeling the boundless energy of the youth toward nation-building through the dual pillars of education and sports. To safeguard our future generation, we conduct extensive awareness camps against HIV/AIDS and the dangers of drug and smoking addiction. We complement this protection with empowerment, organizing educational festivals, quizzes, and training programs, while ensuring that financial constraints never hinder potential by providing scholarships to students from economically poor backgrounds.
Project Prakriti- Ecological Balance
We are deeply dedicated to maintaining the delicate ecological balance of our region through a holistic approach to environmental stewardship. To achieve a greener, healthier future, we actively arrange mass tree plantation programs and work tirelessly towards pollution control. Simultaneously, we promote sustainable living by encouraging organic farming, including traditional cow-based methods, and fostering a culture of proper waste management within the community to ensure our land remains fertile and our surroundings clean.
Project Karuna- Social Welfare & Protection
We stand as an unyielding shield for the most vulnerable members of our society, ensuring no one is left behind in times of crisis. Our commitment is to respond immediately to emergency needs arising out of natural and manmade calamities, providing swift relief to those devastated by disasters like floods. Beyond immediate aid, we are deeply dedicated to long-term safety, initiating robust child protection measures to prevent trafficking and extending loving foster care facilities to ensure every child in need has a secure future.
Project Shakti- Women Empowerment
We believe that when a woman is empowered, her whole family and community rise with her. To achieve this, we organise and strengthen women’s self-help groups and provide skill training in weaving, tailoring, beauty and wellness, food processing and other trades, linking women to credit, markets and government schemes. Simultaneously, we build awareness of women’s rights, health and financial literacy, ensuring that every woman can earn with dignity, make her own decisions and lead change in her community.
Project Sahayog- Uniting for Good
Project Sahayog is our initiative to build a unified force for social change. By collaborating with like-minded NGOs, corporate institutions, and government agencies, we implement impactful development programs that maximize reach and efficiency. Beyond infrastructure, we are deeply committed to restoring harmony and promoting goodwill among diverse ethnic groups, ensuring a peaceful and cooperative society for all.
